Word is Sarah Palin is going to attend the Alfalfa Dinner amongst the likes of President Obama and your typical Washington good ol' boy. For a person who has been excessively prejudice towards Washington and made it a campaign asset that she was an "outsider", I find this quite ironic.
One reporter on MSNBC added that she's merely trying to familiarize herself to the American people. But what's interesting about that assertion is that the event is extremely private; So private that about 150 people will be in attendance.
My take is that she's trying to network. Statistics show that 80% of careers are landed via networking in some way. So we will see a Palin ticket in 2012*.
*God help us all.
